55th Birthday Celebration at Litchfield Distillery
My husband, David, is a big fan of bourbon, so for his 55th birthday last weekend, I planned a bourbon distillery tour and tasting. I initially assumed we would need to cross state lines into New York for such an experience, but during my research, I discovered that Connecticut has its own bourbon distillery. In Connecticut? Who would have guessed?!

The Litchfield Distillery is located a little over an hour's drive west of us, offering a scenic journey through several charming small towns.
Litchfield Distillery was founded by brothers David, Jack, and Peter Baker, with a history rooted in their family's water bottling business, Crystal Rock Water, which began in 1914. The distillery is committed to small-batch distilling using locally sourced ingredients. They take the best of what local farmers have to offer and distill fine craft spirits, one batch at a time.

They offer a range of spirits, including bourbon, whiskey, gin, vodka, and more.

Litchfield Distillery offers complimentary tours of their facility and sample tastings of their award-winning spirits. They ask that you book your tour in advance via their Booking Form.

It goes without saying that my husband, who loves bourbon, enjoyed his birthday adventure.
If you enjoy bourbon, it's worth visiting Litchfield Distillery.
Until next time... Traci H. xoxoxo
